    Alan Grier

    Alan initially came to yoga in 1995 to manage lower back pain and stress. This was the start of a journey influenced by a number of traditions.
    Alan trained with British Wheel of Yoga completing his diploma in 2005.
    He practiced and taught ashtanga yoga for over ten years and visited Mysore on several occasions.
    In 2011 Alan discovered vinyasa flow yoga through Laura Gate-Eastley at Triyoga and grew to love this creative form of practice. He developed his own teaching influenced by Shiva Rea and Kathryn Budig.
    Alan’s classes are dynamic, focusing on building heat, developing strength and creating flexibility through alignment based sequences. He uses a playful approach to challenging asana to deconstruct them and empower students to achieve them.
