cost:

  • application fee: £20 (discounted from course fee if accepted onto the training)

  • discounted fee available if you pay for the whole course £4050

Course fees are non refundable + include all tuition, mentoring, course manuals + necessary materials. Teacher trainees also receive unlimited classes for £50 per month. If you visit triyoga 3 times per week this price is equates to a 70% discount on our regular class price.  Discounts for some triyoga workshops  are also available + 10% off all triyoga shop purchases.

application process:
Interviews will be held in London in early June 2012. They will take approximately 15 minutes.  Additionally, all applicants will be required to take an asana class on the day. Should your application be successful we will contact you with details of your interview slot.

how to pay:

  • £20 application fee + a deposit of £1000 + 24 payments of £138.75
  • or £20 application fee and  £4030 advance payment

  • British Wheel of Yoga Registration Fee: £60 (one off payment)
  • British Wheel of Yoga Membership (includes insurance to teach): £70 (annual payment)
  • First Aid course

course duration:
24 months with approx 390 contact hours.

Outside the weekend modules, you wil also be required to attend:

  • 90 additional class or workshop/course hours for your own practice development
  • 15 hours observing (minimum)
  • 18 hours assisting (minimum)
  • 8 hours first aid training (approx)
  • 1 hour personal tuition (minimum)
  • 1 1/2 hours observed class teaching

Ideally, the first aid, attendance, observing + assisting sessions should be done at triyoga. However, we realise that for some this may not be possible. In such cases, the first aid, attending, assisting + observing hours may be taken with teachers in the UK or abroad, provided the teachers are approved by the triyoga teacher trainers and the first aid training meets the requirements of the BWY.
