Chris Swain, our Anatomy and Physiology, Teacher Training course module teacher, is a prize winning graduate of the British School of Osteopathy where he completed a four year degree in osteopathy in 2000. Part of his training involved a year of studies with prepared dissections at Guy's hospital. This year he has been attending a further course studying prepared dissections at the medical department of Sussex University.
Over the 12 years that Chris has been teaching Anatomy and Physiology (A & P) he has developed a course which is specifically tailored for yoga practitioners and teachers. Anatomy is not a dry and abstract subject with Chris. He brings the subject alive through an interactive style of teaching, which is enhanced by making use of visual images, 3D models and practical examples drawn from yoga asana, making it both relevant and accessible.
Chris has pursued a passion for yoga for the past 30 years.
