over 20 years and remembers doing yoga postures as young as 4 years
old and wanting to be blue like Krishna, thanks to her spiritually
progressive parents and Iyengar teacher next door.
Susannah has studied with many styles and various teachers over the

knowledge based on practices both physical and spiritual and
energetic body work.

Yoga is an ancient philosophy and system of practices designed to
unite mind and body creating a sense of complete well-being. In
this course, you will be introduced to some of the fundamental yoga
poses concentrating on healthy alignment and establishing a deeper
awareness of your breathing. Instruction in meditation and
relaxation techniques will also be given. Some of the many benefits
of yoga include: improvement in posture and breathing, increased
tone, strength and flexibility, a greater ability to cope with
stress and a feeling of calm. This course creates a strong and safe
foundation from which you can then investigate the different styles
of yoga in any of triyoga’s Open and Level One classes.
Please be sure to let your teacher know before class if you have
any form of injury or serious illness, or if you are pregnant or
have recently had a baby.
Susannah Hoffman studied yoga as a child and grew
up within the Yogic tradition. Her teaching style is her own,
incorporating influences from the many styles and traditions of
yoga. She is inspired by the one to one approach of the Viniyoga
System. Each student is treated as an individual, encouraged to
work at their own level and take responsibility for their own
well-being. Susannah is a fully qualified British Wheel of Yoga
