Pilates is for everyone, whatever your age, body shape or fitness level. Our Pilates classes work the entire body through a series of repetitive, mat-based exercises. In some classes small equipment, such as resistance bands, balls and some yoga props will be incorporated into the class. When practised consistently, Pilates will help improve your strength, coordination and mobility. It will help you move more efficiently and freely in everything you do – from training for a marathon, to practising yoga or simply keeping up with the kids.

If you’re new to triyoga we recommend you start with our introductory pass which allows you to try a variety of classes at a great price. How do I get started?

Take a look at our pilates class schedule and find a class time to suit you.

Pilates mat classes are a part of our regular class schedule and can be booked online or in centre 8 days in advance. 30% of class places are reserved for drop-ins. If you’re attending a triyoga centre for the first time, please allow at least 20 minutes prior to your class to register.

Open to all levels from complete beginners to the more experienced as the teacher adapts the class according to the students.

Open to complete beginners, those in the initial stages of practising pilates or those simply wanting to focus on technique.

A good all round class which is suitable for those with some knowledge of Pilates who want to develop their skills. Be prepared to work and learn at this level.

Dynamic Pilates classes link exercises in a moving, flowing sequence. Open to all levels from complete beginners to the more experienced as the teacher adapts the class according to the students.

Due to its low impact nature Pilates can be beneficial during pregnancy. It helps to maintain strength, balance and flexibility and can even assist in alleviating common pregnancy related discomforts such as back pain. Pilates has a strong focus on the core muscles which can help prevent diastasis recti and prepare the body for the physical demands of labour and delivery.

Experiences Pilates instructors can safely guide pregnant women through modifications to ensure exercises are safe and effective during each trimester.

Our London yoga and Pilates studios are located in Camden, Chelsea, Ealing & Shoreditch and are a welcoming peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of London life. From the moment you walk in you’ll feel your shoulders drop and your mind quieten as you get ready to enter your yoga or Pilates practise.  

We offer mat based Pilates classes at all of our London studios, reformer Pilates classes at our Shoreditch studio, and also equipment Pilates at our Ealing and Camden studios. We offer mat Pilates classes at all triyoga locations. Level 1 classes are suitable for complete beginners.

Yoga and Pilates are excellent during pregnancy and for you and baby after the birth. However it is recommended that you do not practice yoga or Pilates in your first trimester. You can return to practice in your second and third trimesters, where yoga and Pilates are both fantastic supports. Find out more about our pre and post natal classes and treatments.

The wonderful thing about Pilates, is that you can never be ‘too old’ to start or practice. Yoga and Pilates are practices for life, and they can be modified to suit all ages, and levels of strength and fitness. Because Pilates is low impact, it is a safe way to build strength, flexibility and endurance without putting the body under strain.

If you’re new to mat Pilates the best way to start is with a level 1 class. If you’re new to equipment Pilates and the equipment studio at Camden, it is recommended everyone starts with a private starter assessment.

If you’re inflexible you’re a perfect candidate for Pilates. Pilates enhances flexibility; it’s not a prerequisite. So if like many of us, you’ve got tight shoulders, hamstrings, hips, quads…both mat Pilates and/or equipment Pilates will really help. If you are at the other end of spectrum and very flexible, Pilates is a great way to balance the body’s strength against over flexibility.
